overnight, about 18 inches of snow got dumped near my house. i have the day off, which means no baking for stacy. instead, i will be working on the baby blanket i've been knitting. hopefully, i will get a bunch of it done today while watching bad movies and stuff on my tivo.
hope everyone who is stuck in the snow has a good day off. and for those of you who live in a place where there is no snow, i wish i could be with you right now.

Pretty snow. There wasn't much real snow in the Berkshires when we left -- 5 inches, maybe -- but lots of fake snow. All the real snow came on the road back, especially as we went through Jersey.
Can't wait to get some new recipes from you... and I'll see what I can pass on for you to try (other than my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, which I already gave you.) :)
Did you say "baby" blanket? Is sombody we know pregnant?
